Kiss me in the streetlight

Our shadows touched,
thats enough to scare me.
Because Im terrified of intimacy.
Deep breaths,
inhale, exhale.
The smoke floats from our bodies
hot breath in the winter air.
When we'd say goodbye
there was a silence that would be
filled with a goodnight kiss.
I thought to myself,
you owe him this.
Standing on tip-toes,
craning my neck,
my arms wrapped around you
our lips connect.
